Some Twin Cam heads using 7.0mm valves can break in the port at the shape of the valve guide These valves feature oversized stems by 0.005” to restore proper clearance between the valve tip and the valve guide if the head has broken Valve guides must be bored/honed to create proper clearance, then the valve must be worked on to ensure a good seal The oversized portion of the valve tip does not extend into the keeper groove; OEM keepers can be used.
