The OptiMate range is your garage's ally! These tester chargers allow you to test the battery condition before and after using the tool. OptiMate 4 Quad Program, for the ultimate maintenance of the high-tech 12V / 12.8V battery of your adventure, touring, cruising or performance motorcycle. Select program 1 or 3 to charge the battery directly or via a live 12V socket*, Program 2 or 4 to charge via the 12V socket controlled by the BMW CAN bus*. Requires an optional cable accessory to connect to the socket. PERFECT FOR: 12V AGM, GEL & STD batteries from 4 to 60Ah & Lithium (LiFePO4) 12.8/13.2V batteries from 2 to 15Ah CHARGING AMPS: 1.25A (constant current) CHARGE VOLTAGE: nominal: 12V & 12.8V Range: 0.5V – 14.4V OPERATION: selectable, 4 charge programs. 12V: 1) Intelligent desulfation: 0.5V - 14.4V 2) Compatible with BMW CAN bus: 5V – 14.4V 12.8V: 3) Low voltage recovery: 0.5V - 14.4V 4) Compatible with BMW CAN bus: 8.8V – 14.4V STAGES: 9 FEATURES: The OptiMate 4 Quad program tests before & after charging and can recover a lead-acid and lithium (LiFePO4) battery from as low as 0.5 volt. USE: indoor/outdoor (lowest temperatures: -40°F/-40°C). INPUT: international (100-240V 50-60 Hz), high efficiency (CEC listed). STYLE: weather-resistant housing with wall mount, with 6 foot/180 cm mains power cable and 6 foot/180 cm charge cable with an SAE connector at the end. PROTECTION: Low voltage start from 0.5V + 2-step desulfation recovery* (*1 step low voltage pulse backup during CAN-bus mode). SAFE: No risk of overcharging. Fully safe for vehicle electronics. No sparking. Safe for long-term battery maintenance. Automatic shut-off in case of short circuit or if the battery is disconnected. INCLUDED: weather-resistant battery cable, battery clips and a hanging hook. WARRANTY: limited 3-year replacement warranty.
